Reception Transition

Due to the current situation with COVID -19 we will contact each family individually over the coming months to discuss settling in and stay and play sessions. We understand that this is a truly difficult time for everybody and can be especially worrying for those wanting to visit our setting. Therefore, we will endeavour to keep you updated on the situation, adding information to the website as we have it. Please contact us via the school email ( with any queries or questions that you may have.

The appeals process has changed slightly.  If you require any information about how to make an appeal then please follow this link

Welcome Video

As you can’t visit our school at the moment we wanted to make a video for you.  We hope you can share this with your child to help with discussions about moving on to Reception.  We have included staff photos and names, activities the children might do inside and outside as well as other places we felt were important for your child to see.

All about Us!

We are looking forward to meeting all of you soon but we thought until that can happen that you might like to know more about us and the staff that will be working in Reception next year.

Take a look below and find out more about Miss Lewis and Mrs Wimpenny, we will be your class teachers next year.

Meet some of the learning support assistants who will also be working in Reception.  Have a read and find out some more about them.

This is really good news and something we felt needed to happen considering the current situation
